Tether is fighting for the money from his assets. Good, but this shows, that conterparty risk is high for Tether/USDT. From site: "Tether’s bank partner Britannia is reportedly facing a lawsuit over claims it failed to pay the full price of revenue-generating assets allegedly related to a deposit from Tether."

The distinction between cryptocurrencies and securities remains unclear and this settlement will take years.
